We need a new cutting edge technology that surprisingly no-one thinks they need. A fully autonomous Robot! I'm not talking a
Sony Aibo or even the advanced, never for sale to the public
Honda Asimo. I am talking about a robot that you could control and communicate with like Siri. Some artificial intelligence that would allow it to better assist you with everyday task like reminders, quick look-ups, directions, etc. From a safety and surveillance standpoint, think how nice it would be to talk to your "at home" robot and tell it to look out the front door? Instead of having to hookup multiple cameras your robot could look wherever you asked. I'm not saying designing this robot will be easy or cheap, but we need to start somewhere. Who's with me?
